This page is used to document energy saving techniques, products, services, etc. that will improve the energy efficiency and long term sustainability for the community. Please refrain from listing any and every product you wish. Instead, we're trying to compile a list of extremely high quality, energy efficient information to increase our sustainabiility. If you find something better than what is listed, make a note in the comments section and everyone can vote on whether it is better than the existing one.

1.5gpm Ultra Saver Shower Head (If anyone finds a better store than amazon, please change the link. Gaiam used to carry this product, but not anymore)

This shower head runs at 1.5 gallons per minute instead of the standard 2.5 gpm. It is also beneficial for low flow or low water pressure showers.  It is one of the cheapest on the market, is made from long lasting materials for a long lifetime of the product, and is extremely easy to clean.  The water stream feels the same as any other showerhead and feels like a full stream like it was 2.5 gpm.  If you would like to test the shower, there is one installed in the Victorian House's shower.
